Operation:
In this type floating aerators, the liquid is drawn through the core at high velocity by the high speed rotation of the impeller. When this liquid hits the deflector it produces an area of high intensity spray diffusion. This creates a large and continuous air / water interface for oxygen.
These floating aerators should be handled with care as the common cause of failure of this continuously running high speed machine is inadequate protection of motor from high intensity spray of liquid.
Motor:
We offer to our customers have a unique feature of elevated motor by positioning it sufficiently above the liquid splash using a spacer called Deflector.
Deflector:
This is a heavy duty M.S. unit is specially designed for maximum dispersion so that there is minimum loss of energy.
Impeller:
This is aerodynamically designed to increase fuel efficiency. It is dynamically balanced, anti fouling, non-cavitating, with a non-clog stainless steel propeller. The pitch is set for maximum hydraulic delivery resembling an axial flow pump.
Coupling:
Vortexing of liquid induces cavitation at impeller which produces axial impact loads in both vertical directions which can drastically reduce motor bearing life. Suyog Aerators use a specially designed coupling that absorbs thrust and torsional loads and this way protects the motor bearings.
Float:
We provide these which are made of fiberglass. They are structurally reinforced from within and completely filled with high density closed cell polyurethane foam making it lifelong. This also ensures high safety factor for flotation.
Shaft:
This shaft is made from stainless steel. These operates in water lubricated teflon bearing.
